The magnitude of the earthquake was 7.3 and the epicenter was at JiJi Town, Nantou County. There were total 2321 people died, 39 people missing, 46 people buried underground, and 8722 people injured. Also, it caused many buildings collapsed. After the earthquake, due to the soil loosing, Taiwan often have the mudflows and landslides problems
